I attended the Peggy Glen School of Dance from the age of 9 until the age of 16. Then went on to do a one-year full time study course with the Peggy Glen Stage School.

At 17 I auditioned and was successful to start with a summer season at Blackpool with the Graham Maclean Company of Dancers. The venue: The Showbar on Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The show: "Viva Paris".

For the next year I danced with a group called "Cyclone" in the Hotel Inverurie, Bermuda, and in various Casinos in Portugal.

The following year I was back with the Graham Maclean Company of Dancers working in Berlin. Then on to Blackpool for a summer season at the Showbar in "Viva Hollywood" and finally back to Berlin to finish my contract.

At the age of 21 I formed my own dance group "Special Effects" the next two years were spent touring the Far East. In such places as Hong Kong, Taiwan and of special interest the cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima in Japan where we stayed for six months.

All contracts finish and back in the UK I formed a second dance group called "Deja vue" who were contracted to work in Cyprus and Israel. I went to the United Arab Emirates with my dance group "Special Effects" under contract with the Dubai Sheraton Hotel. In a two-year period the group also worked with other Hotels in Dubai, Shajah, and Abu Dhabi.

While in the Emirates I staged and choreographed various promotional assignments for such companies as Sony, JVC & General Motors.

Home from Dubai for the 1985 Christmas holiday I was approached by Miss Peggy Glen, who asked me to become Principal of her school, due to her health retirement? I agreed but had to return to Dubai to fulfil a contract with the Metropolitan Hotel.

February 1986 back from Dubai to re-open "The Glenville Stage School", in Balmoral Road and renaming it "The Dance Factory"

I have also worked for Granada TV and appeared in many of their production including Sherlock Holmes, Coronation Street, and Jewel in the Crown.

August 1993 now owner-occupier of a detached property. Incorporating "The Dance Factory", i.e. Studio, Changing room, and all facilities.

Since 1986 I have been a full time dedicated dance teacher. Securing contracts for many of my former pupils now working as professional dancers. Some of my former pupils, instructed and coached by me for their teachers qualifications are now working as teachers, and some have their own dance schools.
