Musical Theatre
This most exciting dance form encompasses the wide spectrum of productions that are Musical Theatre.
Shows like Grease, Bombay Dreams, The Lion King, Oliver, Annie etc all diverse styles but all embraced by the Musical Theatre title. A dance form for theatrical performance, preparing the body physically through exercise and stimulating artistic ability through dance movement, improvisation and interpretation of music. It provides all the 'must have' qualities for today's amatuer and professional dancer. The children learn to appreciate a different kind of music, enjoying timeless classics from bye-gone days. This class prepares the children for shows and teaches them about stage performance encompassing acting and expression through music, movement and dance. A great sense of teamwork , pride and helping others is taken on board as the children enjoy themselves and can't wait to show parents and grandparents what they learnt this week. |
